Examination Overview

Part A: Punjabi Language Test

Nature: This is a qualifying test in Punjabi, equivalent to the Matriculation standard as per the relevant notification.
Number of Questions: 50 questions
Marks: Each question carries 1 mark, totalling 50 marks.
Type of Questions: All questions will be in MCQ format.

Key Points:

There is no negative marking in this section.
To proceed to Part B, a candidate must score at least 50% (i.e., 25 marks) in this section.

Important Notes:

There is negative marking in this section; for every wrong answer, 1/4th of a mark will be deducted.
No marks will be awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.
The merit list will be based on the marks secured in Part B by candidates who qualify Part A.
