PPSC PUBLIC NOTICE
In continuation of the Commission's Advertisement No. 20 published in "THE TRIBUNE" and "AJIT" dated 11th June 2019 regarding recruitment to 03 Posts of Senior Scale Stenographer in the Department of Punjab Public Service Commission, it is informed that the new pay scale has been notified by the Department of Personal (Personal Policy-3 Branch) vide No. PERS-PP-30IMPL/2/2021-3PP3I/662570/2023(5) dated 13-10-2023.
It is further informed that the pay scale mentioned at Clause No. 3 in the Advertisement no. 20 with regard to direct recruitment to the Senior Scale Stenographer in the Department of Punjab Public Service Commission may be now read as given below:-
3. Pay Scale: Senior Scale Stenographer - Rs. 35,400 (Level-6) (Minimum Pay Admissible)
As per existing Government orders regarding the pay of the appointed candidate, as per Notifications No.7/204/2012-4F.P.1/66, dated 15.01.2015 Govt. of Punjab, Department of Finance (Finance Personnel-1 Branch) Chandigarh and Notifications No. 1/62016-4P.P.1/834680/1, dated 7.9.2016 Govt. of Punjab, Department of Personnel (Personnel Policies-1 Branch), Chandigarh fixed emolument equal to Minimum of the Pay Band without any Grade Pay or any allowance will be paid during the probation period of three years. Besides above, Annual increment or any other allowance, except travelling allowance will not be paid during the probation period of three years. However, this issue is under litigation in Hon'ble High Court. So there may be some change in rule in due course, but so far the Rule stands.
The remaining clause remains the same as in the Advertisement.
