Shahjahan
Guru Har Rai Ji, the seventh Sikh Guru, was a contemporary of Shahjahan, the Mughal Emperor. Guru Har Rai Ji's tenure as Guru lasted from 1644 to 1661, a period when Shahjahan was ruling the Mughal Empire (1628–1658).
1848-49
The Second Anglo-Sikh War occurred between 1848 and 1849. It was fought between the forces of the British East India Company and the remnants of the Sikh Empire. The war ended with the defeat of the Sikhs at the Battle of Gujrat in 1849, leading to the annexation of Punjab into the British Empire.
