The Battle of Sirhind between Banda Singh Bahadur and Wazir Khan was fought near Chappar Chiri in the year 1710. It marked a significant victory for Banda Singh Bahadur. A memorial called the Fateh Burj was built in Chappar Chiri, near Mohali, Punjab, to commemorate Banda Singh Bahadur's victory in the Battle of Sirhind (1710).
